Pros

Sr. Leadership is committed to success and seems to know Federal client landscape well.
Willing to give people some bench time when a contract unexpectedly ends.

Cons

Micromanagement, expectations for lots of uncompensated overtime, unrealistic view of the customer environment. Bit of a rosy picture.

Try to identify your employees' strengths and underused skills, to find new ways to encourage employee growth and find opportunities to get them off the bench.

I worked at Dakota Consulting full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Appears to consistently get contracts in the Federal Arena.
Willing to give people some bench time when a contract unexpectedly ends.

    Cons

Highly disorganized from the top down - appears more reactive than proactive. Poor research and method for taking contracts. Micromanagement, expects people to work overtime for no rewards. A good deal of acting before thinking.
