I worked at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

    Pros

very good facilities and environment, location is great, no places to have lunch around except Yawkey canteen, Harvard affiliation is great, exceptional speed and accuracy on recruitment and getting all the paperwork sorted

    Cons

For a post-doc the pay is sluggish and remains the same independent of tenure, experience and lab-s income, to qualify for some benefits one needs to be employed with DFCI for at least a year, no significant physchological support for the members.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think i was very passionate and proud about working at Dana-Farber, it is thanks to great core facilities and surroundings, the pay was dissatisfactory, especially when one considers moving from the abroad.
