I have been working at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Benefits are decent, pay is acceptable, if you don't have too many expenses.

    Cons

Politically charged atmosphere, Egotistical people abound. Lying, back-stabbing, lack of co-operation among departments and co-workers. Blame game is often played. Co-workers will set up others to create trouble. Lack of communication. Disorganized management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Wake up and listen to people when they tell you something is wrong. I am certain that people has been explaining exactly why they are resigning from the company. This could be a great place to work, but will end up with a poor reputation if the situation doesn't change soon.

I have been working at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

    Pros

Salary is excellent, compared to other hospitals.

    Cons

Small department with little interaction with outside areas. I barely ever deal with people in other departments. Some micro-management (in my area at least), and feedback is not always given in a positive way.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's hard to give advice here because it's specific to what area you work in and who you work with.
