    Pros

Excellent Benefits, fair salary, poor training. Quality of food is a joke

    Cons

Poor training program, a lot of online training you have to share 1 computer with 8 other people. Management not engaged to help with training, you are like a cog on a wheel to them...and the food is not fresh is they make it out to be. All sauces, soups, etc come out of a bag and are frozen. Same thing with the desserts...made in a factory and squished into a square like shot glass...scallops and seafood are frozen. Scallops come IQF frozen in large brown box and needs to be slacked on trays in the walking...kudos to freshness and the menu changing once a week...this isn't a chef position...a mediocre kitchen manager at best....don't let the 52 seasons in a year ever changing menu fool you...go to Wegman's to get better quality food and cool your own for less...

    Pros

The company name is highly recognized and still respected, in some circles. You'll learn a lot about a broken corporate culture; one that doesn't walk the talk or where upper management doesn't care one iota for the people that touch its customers every day.

    Cons

Everyone is out for themselves; very cutthroat. No teamwork because everyone needs to look like the winner. No one has any authority to make a decision so simple projects take forever to implement. Performance reviews are conducted on a bell curve; someone must be identified as the weakest link and is then disposed of. Everyone knows that if you want to use the open door policy you better just be prepared to walk right through it. The culture is one of fear, mistrust and back-stabbing.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking about yourself and focus on employees who interact with your guests. Just saying it, doesn't make it so. Your employees can see through your self-serving lies and they don't trust you anymore than you trust them.
