Advice to ManagementAdvice

Honesty, folks. It's the best policy. If your benefits are expensive, disclose this up front. If you don't have clear paths for advancement, don't advertise that you do. If you're not planning to expand and offer additional opportunities, don't sell that pipe dream to candidates.

Spend more time explaining policies and procedures to employees, and less time trying to protect yourselves from mistakes. More training and development = less correcting and attrition.

I have been working at Datrose full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Everyone you work with understands your pain.

    Cons

    1. You will never get a raise- unless you get promoted (they already have who they want in mind before even posting the open position)
    2. The benefits are unaffordable- it is cheaper to buy it outright on your own.
    3. There is no time off- unless you have been here for a year and get your 5 days vacation there is NO time off, everything is "unexcused". They also have a 2% absence standard, basically meaning dont miss a day of work.
    4. Employee morale is not high on their list of priorities.
    5. They are not good at selecting new hires- a lot of the people you will work with are not the brightest.
    6. They really dont even try to work with you on your schedule request
    7. No one ever thanks you for your work- it is a very disincentive based job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

give raises, give incentives, and for the love of god give us time off.
