    Pros

    Initial sales pitch is compelling and attractive. No travel model is basically true. They attract experienced professionals (often from other firms) by promising growth opportunities and local clients. Overtime is offered up front.

    Cons

    With only 3 main clients in the Chicago area, there is no room for career growth. Career planning does not exist and there is no consistent feedback from senior management. Conflicting responses, poor communication, and lack of shared strategy for Chicago branch can make for a negative environment. Training is mostly limited to pre-recorded internal sessions on topics, but nothing for continuing education. Additional training is conducted outside of working hours. There is no pipeline for new work. Those hired to the bench must eventually go to one of the primary clients. Promotions and extensions are primarily for those who on the "IN" with those in leadership. There is much hiring effort occurring to address the high turnover. Most contract work is done in isolation of other employees so there is little collaboration or honest feedback.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There is very little transparency. An open door policy exists in name only. If you try to suggest improvements, expect a reprimand. People are not treated with respect and consistency. Senior management displayed the least amount of professionalism and communication. Coarse language and intimidation do not make for good employee morale.

    Training, skilled consultants, good support structure

    Cons

    Only 10 days vacation to start, raises seem to be incremental rather than promotion based

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Convert to PTO rather than vacation/sick. Give salary bumps when moving in roles/title rather than a slightly larger incremental
