I have been working at David's Bridal part-time

Pros

Good atmosphere and friendly co-workers.

Cons

At the time- no ability to move upward or even acquire a full-time job.

Part-time working full-time hours during the summer... laid off usually or hours decreased much during the winter (non-busy) season

    Pros

    It's a great first place to work if you're wanting to get into the bridal industry.

    Cons

    Pay is low, unless you work in a location that it's the big name in wedding dresses. Can't make real money.
    Managers sometimes don't respect your outside work life.

    Concentrate more on employee training and how you treat them.

    I worked at David's Bridal part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    - you get to interact with and help people
    - you are kept busy all day
    - it pays the bills

    Cons

    - high stress environment
    - terrible abusive management
    - too much pressure put on you to sell
    - an excessive amount of work for minimum wage
    - mandatory weekends for all staff
    - too much stress on your body
    - employees quitting often leaving a lot of work to do

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You should act as if you're being supervised by corporate. And learn how to work in an organized and efficient way.
