I have been working at DeVry Education Group full-time for less than a year

Pros

Competitive salary, flexible work schedule, open to new ideas

Cons

Other schools have gained a poor reputation in the public sector education market, lumping our company in that group making it a more difficult sell to perspective candidates. Clearly, Devry's success for many years and dedication to our students sets us apart.

I worked at DeVry Education Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Had some amount of autonomy with the position, seemingly large network for lateral or promotion moves. Pay was fair.

    Cons

Disorganized communication from the highest level, lack of implementation of new ideas, very dissatisfied students.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide a better product to your students and the model may survive.

I worked at DeVry Education Group

    Pros

There were always opportunities to work on new and challenging projects - in fact, looking back, my most valuable learning and professional development experiences were at DeVry Inc.

    Cons

They practiced "title promotions" quite often. Extra work and new challenges accompanied promotions, but pay was very low and you often needed to work longer hours (little work/life balance).
The Company went through leadership changes that left many departments feeling ill-at-ease or resentful; it was challenging at times.
