Pros

Great benefits package, great staff at the local campuses most doing their jobs as best as they can. Years ago there was opportunities for growth.

Cons

The current environment is much different, with very high pressure and stressful environment locally. Has become more of a corporation and less of an educational environment

Advice to Management

Stop speaking the language of an employer of choice and begin to ACT like an employer of choice. Invest in your people and their morale, they will be the turnaround the company needs.

    Pros

I worked as a tutor in the Federal Work Study program as an undergraduate student. I loved working at DeVry, and I loved being a tutor. I felt well respected and liked by both students and faculty.

    Cons

My only wish is that I could have worked more hours. The FWS program only allows for 20 hours per week

    Advice to Management

Graduate students should also be eligible for FWS.

  2. Best of the for-profit educational companies

    Pros

IDs and Course Developers were a creative team attempting to make the best courses on a fast-paced schedule.

    Cons

Corporate side of the coin - it's all about the budget and costs of resources
