Their main goal is to make money - that always comes first. The rest is secondary. Wouldn't work there again

I have been working at DeVry University full-time for more than a year

Pros

The do have a good training program and the offices and campuses were nice etc. Also, the staff in general at my location were overall good people

Cons

Its not necessarily DeVry I dislike, more the concept of profit driven educational entities. These two things should not be mixed

Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at DeVry University full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Truly offering a high quality option of higher education that is INCREDIBLY competitive in terms of cost. I really don't get what people are talking about when they say it's too expensive... compared to what?

    Cons

Decreased enrollments have equaled reduction in workforce and uneasiness among employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Use the incredible resource you have: the people that are succeeding in their roles. Don't create new plans on your own without that input and be confused when there is resistance.
