I have been working at Deaconess Hospital full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Small, Friendly, a great place to work 1980-1992

Cons

Was not a lot of opportunity for advancement, professionally or financially. Eventually folded due to their inability to garner a relationship with a hospital network.

    Pros

Some of the people really knew what they were doing and were easy going.

    Cons

Lots of red tape and miscommunication created hurt feelings and ego trips all over that place. Not your most efficient hospital that is for sure.
