I have been working at Dean Foods full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

The milk industry itself appears to be very stable. Clean work stations with good salaries. Wil pay for tuition. Time for life after work.

Cons

No advancement, unless you are a consultant. Always bringing new people without any prior experience in the milk industry. Good for consultants and other beverage employees.

I have been working at Dean Foods full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

They promote from within, I have had many opportunities to continue to grow in my time here at Dean Foods. They believe in training and providing stretch opportunities to build new skills.

    Cons

Economic conditions have slowed the pace of growth a bit, but still a great place to work. Changes in the organization are impacting morale as possible layoffs loom in the distance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communication is the most important tool in keeping employee morale high.
