not enough face to face interaction with the group
benefits could be better - no paid holidays - only 5 days PTO offered per year
projects are not evenly distributed to recruiters

That says it all - in a retained search model, where compensation is 100% commission, if you are not given enough projects to work on, you will not reach your compensation goals. It's about belonging in the inner circle to make more money.
