Pros

The leadership team is working diligently on addressing challenges. There's a renewed commitment to focus on communication, culture and staffing. Delivery Agent is a fun environment, but like most companies of its size is experiencing growing pains. This company has a huge amount of potential. The employees are great to work with.

Cons

Again, like most companies in this life cycle stage, there needs to be focus on improving processes, systems, organizational structure and leadership in order to scale. The challenges at Delivery Agent are nothing new at this life cycle phase. It's actually fun and exciting to be part of the growth and change of building a company.

Hold all leadership and employees to high standards of performance and accountability

    Pros

    Great people (mostly) working really hard to try to make things better. Fast paced and never boring. Great brands and cool products, great office in downtown san fran. Casual office vibe and flexible hours. Great opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the company or the clients everyday. Watching TV and sports are part of your job!

    Cons

    Completely broken business model that needs a massive overhaul. Constant shifting of priorities, direction, vision, expectations.
    Favoritism and unprofessional behavior at the highest levels of the company.
    Little to no communication from management.
    Vast sums of money wasted on short term, off-strategy projects, while the business remains seriously under staffed, under paid and over worked.
    Truly terrible systems.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get over yourselves, really.
    Make a Plan and Stick to it.
    Be Humble. Listen to other people, they might have real solutions or good ideas.
    Communicate, don't spin.
    Reward people. Recognize people. Trust people.
