I worked at Dell full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They pay well. There are ample opportunities. There are very few 'pros' to this employer.

    Cons

The employee is expected to lie; there is no way to get HR assistance; their projects are mess. Their review process is horrendous.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your DCCA group will definitely end up with lawsuits. I only wish Michael Dell could know how bad things really are.

I worked at Dell full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

I've been sitting here for 10 min and the only thing I can think of is that sometimes they let me leave.

    Cons

No opportunity to move up, constantly involuntarily shifted due to outsourcing, pay is inconsistent with work assigned, benefits are ok at best, mandatory overtime on a very regular basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If your employee base isn't happy, your business won't be happy. Listen to the people who do the work if you want to improve how it's done. There is nothing wrong with asking the opinions of those most closely effected.
