Frustrating

Programmer (Current Employee)
Austin, TX

ProsGood benefits, although the perks get reduced each year and the cost of healthcare rises each year.

ConsThe atmosphere drives most people to work very long hours although the company claims to encourage work-life balance. Lower management has their hands tied for the most part and often can't hire, back-fill positions or reward good performers.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind areas to budget cut that don't directly impact employee morale. Listening to the other employees complain is probably the worst aspect of being there.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Dell full-time for more than 3 years
