    I have been working at Dell full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Strong portfolio of Enterprise products and potential survival and success in that area - with a significant senior management restructuring

    Cons

    Very poor client product/services portfolio which accounts for the majority of the revenue stream.
    Overwhelming lagging indicators of future success in every category.
    Detached and out of touch senior management.
    Outdated HR policies requiring forced rankings regardless of individual performace
    Total Guardrail to guardrail senior management strategies. Stay at Dell long enough and you will see the same failed "strategies" recycled, rebranded, and launched.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Stop the SVP musical chair game.
    - New CEO is desperately needed.
    - SVP team needs to be rejuvenated.
    - Build corporate strength from the inside out (take care of your employees)
    - Reward entrepreneurship rather than complacency and status-quo.

    Pros

    Work/life balance is good, great peer group, good name recognition with clients.

    Cons

    Company has no direction. Executive team out of touch with customer base and employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Spend time with your sales people and find out what they hear from their customers daily.
