Current Employee - Mid Market Account Manager in Nashville, TN
Current Employee - Mid Market Account Manager in Nashville, TN

I have been working at Dell full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

- Good Pay
- Good Benefits
- Fun work environment
- Great place to start a career

Cons

- Constant turnover in sales department
- Senior Management changes it's mind on a dime.
- Unrealistic quotas in remote territories
- Miss your quota 3 quarters in a row and get ready to hit the road.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Align the finance department and sales department more closely. Let sales have a say so in setting of quotas, provide channels to reach upper management instead of the middle management crowd (which there's way too much of).
