Pros

Dell provides good benefits and compensation for its employees at the Santa Clara and San Jose sites. It also has good employee events planning.

Cons

I was only employed at Dell for a very short period of time. I was not there long enough to really enjoy the full scope of the company.

    I have been working at Dell full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    smart people, good experience for learning

    Cons

    no focus, priorities changes every 6 months
    performance reviews focuses more on individual rather than team effort
    reorgs in management leads to unnecessary change which screws up employees hard work and morale

    think twice before making decisions, focus on project and get things done
    promote collaboration and team effort vs individual accomplishments

    In the services world, Dell gives a great deal of flexibility to move around and serve different roles within an account.

    Cons

    As with any large company, there is some beurocracy to deal with
