    Pros

Temporary employees can eventually get benefits on same level as permanent employees. Invited to attend and ask questions in corporate web meetings.

    Cons

Inquiries to HR are hit or miss depending upon who gets the case. One inquiry was handled with empathy and interest; the other with apathy -- had to provide proof previously worked for them when an internal search for a past W-2 they issued could have been done .

Corporate holidays should be across the board. One division only hasChristmas Day off while others get that entire week.

One can have the degree in exact major specified in the posting for an entry-level intern position and still be informed they do not possess the qualifications to be considered or interviewed. Opportunities for career change neutralized without at least an interview which would have provided information an online application cannot.

Unused vacation earned is neither carried over to the next year nor paid out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When contracts with clients are extended, the contracted workers who currently work that project should have the option to leave without any negative backlash.
