Dell – “Great people to work with but highly tactical, aimless and vision less executive leadership”

Pros

- Opportunities abound to flex your skillsets
- Marketing has some very good folks below the executive level
- Great people to work with in teams

Cons

Dell hires some of the best people but don't provide them resources to achieve their potential for the good and advancement of the company. What an irony!
Too heavy on cost reductions and operational expenses but no focus on growth or innovative initiatives and investments.

Advice to Senior Management

Executive leadership should focus on long term vision, believe in it and stick to it.
Don't keep shuffling cards every quarter. Empower and trust your management else they will be in CYA mode. This ship can be turned around.
