I worked at Dell full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Decent overall pay and benefits

    Cons

After the company I worked for was acquired I went from minimal travel to almost 80% travel overnight even though I specifically stated that I was not able to travel extensively when I hired on.

I worked at Dell full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Technology was good, within our group.

    Cons

Right from start, our start up group / division had no support financially from upper management, though they kept saying otherwise. Finally the whole project was closed and we were given only 2 weeks to look within. All throughout we never felt connected to the core of Dell or management. Could never get clear answers about training budget, or health care from the HR

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
