“Deloitte Consulting - A perspective from someone who's been here for 10 years”
Current Employee – been working at Deloitte
Pros – 1. people are generally smart and motivated
2. vacation time is excellent
3. challenging work assignments at top companies
Cons – 1. travel can get "old" and eat up lots of personal time if going coast to coast
2. review process can be very subjective and unfair, particularly given economic conditions
3. requirement to lead firm initiatives "after hours" errodes work/life balace
Advice to Senior Management – come up with a better way to evaluate people that is more fair and less subjective.
