    Pros

    Global client base. Opportunity to work across different service areas like technology, strategy and human capital consulting, Enterprise Risk Services, etc.

    Cons

    Since billing the client is a priority, you may have to accept projects that are not related to your core skills and interests.

    I have been working at Deloitte full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    flexible work/life balance, management promotes skill building, management generally promotes creative thinking and allows you to attack projects independently, credit is usually given when due and extra effort is rewarded.

    Cons

    alot of bureaucracy, management tends to create a bottleneck causing projects to consistently run behind schedule, no promotion from within, many managers are behind the curve in terms of technical skills, in many cases new ideas and more efficient technology are turned down because of managements lack of understanding of how the technology works, not much visibility to upper management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    begin promoting from within, foster team atmosphere by doing more extracurricular activities as a team, allow your junior employees to take the lead on projects and resolve issues using their own creative ideas.
