Deloitte – “Doesn't live up to its aspirations”

Lots of time off, although it's hard to take it.
Opportunities to work globally.
Working with top companies.
Working on a lot of different important initiatives.
Cons
They talk a lot about work-life balance, but 60 hours a week is a minimum.
They talk about advancing women but most senior leaders are men and it seems like most of the women who have been promoted had a relationship with a senior partner.
There are no mandated 360 evaluations for managers so they are not evaluated on how well they manage, but how well they kiss up to their managers.
It's a partnership, so partners are treating like gods, and everyone else is supposed to just support them without challenging them.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to your people. Communications is all about what senior leaders say to the underlings, but you need to fine out what's driving us crazy.

I had a manager who was literally a dictator and made junior staff miserable to the point of tears. While at the same time you could clearly see him kissing up to senior managers with a fake sense of enthusiasm all the time.
It's amazing how many consultants openly say "I network up, not down". (How is that suppose to make junior staff feel?)
