    Pros

    1) Great Compensation; Mostly above the market standards
    2) Multitude of client engagements providing excellent learning opportunities
    3) Management strives to provide Work-Life balance to its people. Employees are encouraged to take time out for vacations
    4) Excellent perks/benefits in travel based engagements

    Cons

    Performance evaluations carry heavy weight-age to "Firm Initiatives". Due to this, employees just manage to meet expectations at the client side and "run off" to put in some "Firm Initiative" hours in order to secure a promotion/good rating. This is a major contribution towards attrition in india offices.

    Advice to Management

    Heavy emphasis on "Firm Initiatives" needs to be removed at once. Make it mandatory for middle management to involve in "Delivery" aspects in a client engagement. Measure their performance in terms of sales/revenue contributions made instead of on the "number of Firm initiative hours" spent. This would prevent the middle management to "leech" on their sub-ordinates and instead invest on them.
