I have been working at Deloitte full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

I love the people I work with, and the benefits Deloitte offers are great. I like where the building is located, and it's a beautiful view

Cons

Wish there was more work/life balance. It's hard when you have such harsh deadlines and such a large amount of work. I feel like we get stretched thin and we don't get compensated for it.

Advice to Management

Work on work/life balance. Don't stretch people in small offices so thin, consider the little people.

    Pros

    Fast paced environment, work with many professionals, potential to try many different industries and roles, great "first job" and jumping point into other opportunities, good training and certification opportunities, travel

    Cons

    Performance review process is not well-received and causes high turnover, unethical leadership, focus on selling work and achieving high utilization of employees rather than developing employees,compensation has become more controversial and will continue to do so

    Advice to Management

    Let the junior employees choose their assignments. Many good people leave because they have no control over their own career. The performance rating process is unfair and unequal. Very frequently, people who don't deserve it get promoted and others who definitely deserve it do not, because of one bad project. Do not staff junior employees randomly. Educate them about all of the service lines and then allow them to choose. You will see a much higher retention rate.
