Pros

Good location if your interested in the Midwest. Good high tech manufacturing experience with above average benefits and a clean working environment.

Cons

Tendency to pigeon hole employees into very specific job assignments. Cyclical automotive industry, very sensitive to the economy. Good opportunities for advancement - if your are a schmoozer.

I have been working at Delphi full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

A safe place to work and very clean. Build good products

    Cons

Very low merit increase for US salary as compared to sites outside the US. Job security is on the minds of many salary employees that are reaching retirement age. Many near 55 years old have been let go. The management is very self centered, vain and operate like a closed door boys club. Fear of job loss is used to delay and avoid giving good merit raises to the salary workforce while upper management collects huge bonuses. Previous President of Company caught traveling to facilities cutting jobs and telling employees to tighten belts while his purchase activity of a huge home made the Indianapolis news headlines using employee blood money.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get off their high horses and care about the lives of their employees

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
