Uncertainty in companies future creates morale problems. These problems have been caused by the credit crisis and rise in commodities especially fuel converging to prevent the company from emerging from bankruptcy. The company has been in bankruptcy for several years now and no end seems to be in sight. A venture capital firm pulled out of a deal at the last minute in April and with GM our former parent company also in very bad trouble things look very bleak for the future. The only growing part of the company seems to be the foreign operations in China and the rest of the far east.
