    Pros

Not many - industry is cut-throat, stability is no longer there due to the economy and the low cost carriers

    Cons

Instability, organization is so big that change comes very, very slow

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do what is needed to make the organization more nimble - make changes that positively impact the culture of the organization

I worked at Delta Air Lines full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good Travel benefits
    Good colleagues
    Global presence
    Profit sharing in 2011

    Cons

Work in very small cubes in Atlanta location, poorly maintained buildings, unreasonable deadlines, consistent heavy workloads and very long hours, tendency for workers to want to stay under the radar to avoid getting cut, a lot of workers just waiting for retirement, innovation and creativity not encouraged, old boy network is alive and well in this southern company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do more than pay lip service to Rules of the Road. Encourage innovation and change to meet business challenges, recognize workers who perform above and beyond the call of duty. Promote early and often.
