I have been working at Delta Air Lines full-time for less than a year

Pros

Engaging work and positive corporate culture. Nice HQ campus with onsite cafeteria, gym, credit union, pharmacy & health clinic. ... and the unique benefits of being an airline employee.

Cons

Delta manages growth with consultants that can be easily added or trimmed based on the economic environment. Contractors can be excluded from meetings, programs and events. Employees typically have very full plates.

I have been working at Delta Air Lines full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Airline is in a good position so security is good at this time.

    Cons

Upper Managment down is caring less and less about moral and are pushing extra work in a my way or the highway mentality. Pay is decent. Not too fun to work fork.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Actually treat aircraft maintenance well and don't just say at the corporate level you treat employees well and their so happy. When it's not the reality.

I have been working at Delta Air Lines full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great travel benefits to travel worldwide.
If you like working with airplanes, you can't beat a CSA job in which you deal with numerous aircraft day in and day out.
Good co-workers for the most part, feel like you are part of a team environment

    Cons

Local management can sway from corporate culture big time
Local leaders often mismanaged and things never seem to get anywhere
Little room for advancement, unless you know the right people in the right place
Can be extremely stressful working environment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To always have an open door policy and really feel the need to help employees with career advancement, not just because of bonues.
