    Offices don't have windows for most departments.

    I worked at Deluxe Entertainment as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

    Work with some funny and cool people.
    Get free coffee and snacks.
    See some famous people come in on occasion.
    Learn a ton about the industry and post, be directly in the middle of huge production work.

    Cons

    Work for people that hate their jobs.
    Work for barely livable pay.
    Have a hard time moving up unless the "cool kids" like you or unless you kiss ass.
    Some people are catty and will turn on you at the drop of a hat.
    Get used to your boss taking their stress out on you.. it happens in various departments.
    You will see a massive wave of people come and go with your time here.
    You will not be trained well because.. yup that's just why so good luck-it's sink or swim.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Instead of paying the lower level staff crap, gut the upper management and rearrange staff. Have HR look into people that have been there too long that have high staff turnover in their departments. Offer incentives to your employees. They work very hard and deserve to be praised rather than picked apart.
