I have been working at DentaQuest as a contractor for more than 5 years

Pros

Most employees have a reasonable work-life balance. An 8-hour day is normal for the office located in Boston. There are definitely some very talented, creative, hard working individuals here.

Cons

DentaQuest does not know how or when to cut dead wood. There are far too many mediocre employees here. The hard working employees have to do their own work plus the work of the lazy folks. Management simply allows poor performers to linger.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the ones who are just showing up for the paycheck.

Was a nice company in the beginning, but now has become a numbers/money focused company.

I have been working at DentaQuest full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

They work with you most of the time for family and vacation time. flexible schedules and casual dress.

    Cons

has become very focused on numbers, counts, errors and has started to go away from the quality of work, doing things right and accurately unless you are an employee that has worked there for a number of years - it seems those with seniority are held to higher standards than those who are just starting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus more on the quality of work that needs to be done and not the quantity of work. there seems to be a big disconnect between what is required of one person to another. The quantity of work would not be necessary if there was more quality of work and things being done right the first time.

I have been working at DentaQuest full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Direct Managers and Team Leads were supportive and tried to be resourceful and push for success among the different teams.

    Cons

Upper Management did not care for subordinates and there was extremely poor communication between different departments which led to unsuccessful operations within the Company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to subordinates and really help each individual to feel they are part of the team. Upper Management needs to stop playing favorites and all rules should apply to upper management as well.
