Stress free job with very strong work life balance, but doesn't pay enough!

Assistant Economist (Current Employee)
London, England (UK)

ProsOnly 36 hours a week.
Lots of opportunities to train (around 2-3 weeks worth a year and seminars every other week).
Flexible working i.e. I work 9 days a fortnight.
There is very generous parental leave.
Stress free!

ConsPay is OK at first but with little growth or bonus.
Some bad managers.
Not good for ambitious young professionals; much more suitable for a person with commitments.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive ambitious people a challenge and reduce the hierarchy.
