Pros

We are truly a family here at the Stonebridge Inn in Snowmass, CO. Everyone is very accepting, recognizing of work ethic, and gives opportunity for advancement.

Cons

Sometimes, as with all companies, communication from one section of the hotel to another is lacking...but we are making strides to make that better!

    Pros

    cant think of any at all

    Cons

    as a front line staffer you have NO chance at a raise. If your on the management team compensation is decent. You get written up for working .25 overtime making minimum wage, yet there are 5 guys making 100k a year who sit around and do nothing and are absolutely nowhere to be found when it gets busy. No deals on neighboring hotels, no raise, no christmas party, no cafeteria, no respect whatsoever for long time employees. be prepared to get treated like a dog if your non-management.

    fire half of your managers. they do absolutely NOTHING.

    I worked at Destination Hotels full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    One-on-one training session, hard working managers who seem to genuinely care about your well being

    Cons

    Very long hours, unpredictable schedule (example: working from 3-11pm and then working from 6:45am to 3pm the next day-Very exhausting), guests are VERY rude, advancement opportunities are very limited.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    communication with other departments is very important....for example letting the front desk agents know if the maids are behind that day etc. So they can communicate to the guests about the status of their rooms.
