Pros

Teamwork is very important, a lot of support from management is given, access to all the information needed to do the job.

Cons

Have to stay overtime, stressfull sometimes to balance work/life when you have very young children. The pay is not very attractive.

Management should promote employees who really have the potential to go to the next level, based not only on past experience, but on their capability of performing the new role

    I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Traditionally conservative culture. Good technical level of majority of people. All range of products and technologies you can work with.

    Cons

    Due to huge losses in Europe, they lost a lot of people for the last 4 years and the work load for the rest is unbearable now. The pressure increased dramaticallly where the working weeks in some IT groups (in my particular) was over 70 hours/ week including weekends. People are being treated much worst than it was several years ago. Promisses of good bonuses currently is a lie, some departments such as structured securties lost a lot of good managers and is completely mismanaged.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Reevaluate current policy regarding people and enforce internal polices to keep core people.
