Pros

- Excellent people to work with
- Pay isn't bad, bonuses were pretty generous given current market flux and conditions

Cons

- Lots of bureacracy and hierarchy issues to deal with
- Lots of turnover due to credit crisis
- Hard to move around within as positions are never posted on intranet

Advice to ManagementAdvice

promote more internal flexibility and job placement to keep employees from being bored

    Pros

    Top level management are making the right kind of noises about expansion in the US market
    and mid to long term strategy.

    Cons

    -Too much politics
    -Not hiring the right kind of people needed to take the bank forward
    -It's more who you know than what you do to go far

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Be aware of losing good people who are getting sidelined because of unnecessary politics
    -Be wary of too much expansion in terms of headcount, many of the new hires don't necessary add value to the bank

    Pros

    There are many opportunities for changing locations and changing your role. The culture is not as cutthroat as some other banks.

    Cons

    There is a disconnect between upper management and middle managers, where upper management is trying to push large initiatives forward just for their own benefit without taking a notice of how this affects managers below them and ultimately the banks performance.

    Have regular meetings VP level managers and make them part of any significant change to the organizational structure. Reconsider the
