“Its been great, I am challenged and enjoy it so far.”
Current Employee – been working at Devon Energy full-time
Pros – Great culture and atmosphere. Devon also has a great training program for engineers.
Cons – Micro-management is an issue with some groups but not all. Company is loyal to employees, but sometimes seem hesitant to make changes when it is warranted.
Advice to Senior Management – Allow professionals to do their job, and avoid micro-management by managers.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
