I worked at Dewberry full-time for less than a year

Pros

1. Overall had decent coworkers.

Cons

1. Very low pay given the location.
2. Bad benefits..if you had any gap in insurance and they claim you have a pre-existing condition later on you are dropped.
3. Mediocre 401k matching compared to their competitors.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be honest before you hire somebody that the contract is not for X amount of years, but rather a couple months.

I worked at Dewberry full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Dewberry provides very competitive benefits, the people in the office are a huge PRO for the Dallas office, and the company provides flexibility when needed. Everyone in the company is helpful and understanding.

    Cons

The company as a whole is somewhat resistant to change (behind the curve, so to speak, when it comes to the use of technology), and there has been some morale upset in the Dallas office due to some turnover and management issues. Also, the company doesn't provide many opportunities for career growth unless someone gets sick, retires or resigns.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep an eye on the Dallas office, and provide the opportunity for some of the "underlings" to spread their wings and get exposure on different projects to keep from losing the best talent. Also, be open to change and innovation - it's what moves the industry forward!!
