I worked at DiBella's full-time (less than an year)

Pros

If you are willing to work all different shifts and you want to make it a career then this is a place to work for. They are looking for long term people that want to learn and grow with the company. There is good opportunities for advancement as General managers in new stores that will open in Connecticut . They are looking to open five more stores in the next year or two.

Cons

Didn't give some employees an opportunity to show their true potential. Made some promises in the beginning(new store open for 4 months)that they didn't keep. Because of the economy low hours available for workers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure that you give each employee a good opportunity to show their true potential.

    I worked at DiBella's full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    The sandwiches are an excellent product, and you get them severely discounted (if part-time) or free (if full-time).

    The health insurance is very inexpensive and is a very good policy.

    The company really values safety and will provide you all the tools necessary to be safe at work.

    The company is expanding, so as long as you do your job you have great job security and probably have opportunities to move up.

    Cons

    Corporate has a way of ignoring any suggestion or idea for improving the company that comes out of the stores.

    The company does not respect its employees. You're just a cog in the machine.

    The company is not very organized or professional about the way it operates.

    Wages are among the worst in the fast-food industry, even though the product is high-quality and very profitable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Engage all levels of the company in decision-making.

    Communicate company policy more effectively.

    Pay your employees a living wage.

    Good hours, no late late nights

    Cons

    Corporate office has no clue what they're doin, they'll hire just about anyone as a Store Manager
