I worked at DiBella's full-time (less than a year)

Pros

Great work life balance, fast paced and great food. The company concept is easy to pick up and fairly easy to run. It's easy to train new associates and have them ready to run a station quickly.

Cons

In my situation I worked for an inexperienced GM and DM. The GM was afraid to give honest feedback about my performance and only told me good things and only told her boss what I need to improve on. The DM seemed to be unaware of the problems in the store as he took the GM's word for everything. Also, all their food cost was calculated on poorly made Excel spreadsheets and the payroll system was calculated by hand, even though the POS system was capable of doing those tasks.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop expanding and figure out how to control costs and focus on a solid training and development program before building out.

    I worked at DiBella's part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

-the job is not terribly grueling
-you can meet some good people there
-different positions that you can work each night that break up the monotony

    Cons

-really slow wage increases of 25 cents every six months
-some managers are a nightmare and you cannot avoid dealing with them
-if you want to take a five minute break to eat (even when the store is completely dead), on anything less then a 6 hour shift, forget about it
-hours can fluctuate wildly from week to week
-the management cuts people's hours until they quit instead of firing them

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are going to fire someone actually tell them, instead of wasting their time and hoping they go away.

I have been working at DiBella's part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Most of the people you work with.

    Cons

literally anything else you can think of.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More pay, better work environment, less stress and maybe people would stop quitting every day.
