Current Employee - Call Center Agent in Athens, GA

    Pros

It is so easy to get hired on here. It is a paycheck. You meet a lot of new people. Promoting is done from within... if you would want to grow with them.

    Cons

Pay is horrible. They pay $8 starting and they were paying the same back in 2007. They do not care about employees. They quit hiring full time and took all the benefits away from the people who were full time. There is no incentive for staying here. Its an in-between jobs job.

    Pros

Family like atmosphere yet very professional. Enforced dress code and very quality oriented

    Cons

low pay for agents starting out $8 minimum, however there is a professional fundraising program where approximately 10 agents out of 200 have a chance at making more than $10/hr

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay at least $9/hr and offer more full time opportunities and benefits. Other call centers in the area are at or above $10/hr for customer service jobs. The only other call center paying as low as this is ACT, and I don't like being compared to them in any way.
