I have been working at Diamond Foods full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

A lot of good people to work with, and seniority can help to maintain a secure position.

Cons

After financial trouble the place has been unstable in maintaining a large enough work force. The pay is alright for a career start, but it never really gets competitive with the rest of the industry.

Advice to Management

Improve employee salaries as time goes by to maintain a strong workforce.

I have been working at Diamond Foods full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My supervisor at Diamond has been very supportive (in his own way) in helping me learn and grow. My job related stress is non-existent and I have leaned a lot about industrial engineering.

    Cons

I often feel like I am underutilized, and that some of the tasks that are given me are only given to me to "keep me busy."

    Advice to Management

Try to utilize your interns more fully. That way we can give you more "bang for your buck" and we can feel greater job satisfaction.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

You learn a lot really quickly with some freedom to work on your own projects you enjoy rather than just being told what to do

    Cons

Minimal direction from upper management, little exposure to upper level corporate and it employs mainly temps that work in production
