Pros

Company has an awesome culture as long as you buy in to them. This can be one the most rewarding jobs, but not without a strong commitment. they offer crazy incentives to simply do your job, commission is awesome if you take sales seriously and don't wait around for people to walk up asking to buy something, they only promote from within, and it's a place where you can talk to your managers whenever you want. I've never had a job with so much opportunity to grow and handed over big prizes and trips. Like many people, I left for a "better opportunity" that tuned out to be a waste of time. If i had stuck around i'd probably be managing by now

Cons

If you don't apply yourself, you won't like it. Those that don't show interest in the company don't ever stick around and causes fluctuations in staffing. They don't really care for people that don't care for the company. Your effort is truly highlighted, can be really rewarding, or not so much depending on what you bring.

    Pros

The friendly atmosphere is great! Being close to the home office helps for career development! Many of my coworkers have gone on to manage stores and districts, and not not mention the new market positions. Easy to work-with schedule. Paid training and mileage, not to mention contest bonuses! Easy to progress!

    Cons

Vacation gets capped at two weeks! High turnover with people working less than a year. Untimely meetings and scheduling for management. Raises are non-existent for sales associates! Who you know helps.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Choose one thing at a time to focus on. You can't just be better at everything all the time!

I worked at Diamond Wireless part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Kind of good pay (but they sure expect you to work 24x7)

Free candies and 25 cents soda

You hear people back stabbing each other and it's a total jokes that give you a good laugh.

    Cons

HR is always on your @-$$. They re not helpful. They are there to do their "K9" job.

Too much politics. If you don't fit in on the first day, you'll never be.

They expect to hire a robot that runs 24x7, not a human who can only work 5 days a week.

If you try to stand up for yourself you're $krewed! Your manager will make sure your life there is over.

Pretty much most people who work there don't know what else they should do somewhere else. Mostly high school grads and managers who dresses up like a pole dancer.

Worst benefits ever. No health insurance until you pass the first 180 days. No sick leave, 9 holidays and 5 vacation days/year. The insurance premium is higher than what you would pay for a self-insured plan.

Last but not least, you can try your best to be nice and work your @-$$ off but at the end if they don't like you you're done!

And the owners don't care $chit about you either.

    **what goes around comes around**

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop being a cheater and start really caring for people who help you make schitt load of money for once please! Start to hear them out and not take anyone's side, please!
