LOW MORALE

ASM (Former Employee) Boston, MA

ProsProa- they are really hard to come by. They have a standard benefit package (medical and dental is good). SM get stock, but they can't touch it for 3 yrs. bonus

Consstores run a low payrolls-managers have to boot strap projects all of the time.
culture of company is thankless at the store level from DM>>>RVP>>>VP.
no one is vested in your development. We have highly skilled mgrs in role for 5-7 years, but they keep being passed up for DM rolls, because the company keeps recruiting from Sears/Kmart. Work/Life balance is a mess. One weekend off a month. You are paid based on a 50 hour work week. most week are 6 days without comp time.
high turnover of mgrs, associates, leads

Advice to Senior ManagementAs company goes from transforming itself from a retailer to brand, they have rethink a lot of different thnigs. the processes that are getting installed are great, but you have to let the store teams master them first, before add more and more on the plate.

Morale is a 911. its the most thankless organization that I have worked for.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
