My position correlated nicely with what I was studying in college at the time.
    Decent discount.

    Cons

Could never keep one GM for too long.
Softlines manager was rude to employees AND customers, poorly trained, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay attention to your training videos next time around. Also, your department does not come before any other.

I have been working at Dick's Sporting Goods part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Pros would have to be that most of the associates are easy to talk with. And is a very relaxed place to work.

    Cons

Things are a little to relaxed for my pace I like to go to work to work not to watch other people sit around and do nothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train people that wanted to be trained for management. Not just the leads that under paid for the position. The associates that do work need to get paid more.
