I worked at Dick's Sporting Goods full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The discounts are good. Getting to know customers.

    Cons

Care more about tasking then helping customers, no payroll, unreasonable expectations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to department managers, store managers don't always know everything.

I have been working at Dick's Sporting Goods part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    -discount
-slow crowd at times makes it easy
-wage actually depends on experience not given minimum wage at first unlike other retail stores

    Cons

    -immature managers
    -constantly pushing scorecards
-not a challenge day to day experience
-not so clear return policies therefore causes disappointed customers
-they say they care about customers but they only care about scorecards

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be professional and use professional language in a workplace towards every employee. Scorecards are really hard to issue since not every customer wants to be constantly told by an employee everytime. At least make scorecards with a certain discount since always asked when trying to convince a customer with one.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
