Pros

Company is very supportive of teamwork, of collaboration, while still recognizing unique skills and passions and giving people a chance to excel individually.

Cons

Strong corporate culture. There is a Digi way of doing things. It is sometimes necessary to find a sponsor to clear an obvious roadblock

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure everyone in a decisionmaking capacity has a time listening to customers goal. Implement more formal systems for information sharing across divisions not just up and down

    Great people to work with! Benefits are good. Pay is competitive for the current marketplace.

    Not many jobs open up if you are not at HQ.

    I worked at Digi International

    Pros

    Debt free financially well run second tier company. Works at finding niches it can dominate rather than taking on larger companies with greater resources.

    Cons

    Product line too broad for most salespeople to comprehend. As a result salespeople go where they can easily make their quota or in the latest hot technology they're focused on by their management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More direct account interaction by Digi salespeople outside of North America to uncover strategic opportunities that distribution channels aren't likely to find.
