Former Employee - AREA SALES MANAGER in Atlanta, GA
Former Employee - AREA SALES MANAGER in Atlanta, GA

I worked at Dillard's full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Good for internal advancement. I moved up the ladder pretty quickly.

Cons

In the Florida division, people got fired kind of randomly, for odd reasons. I think if sales were bad, they started singling out Area Sales Managers kind of unfairly. One store I worked in, the whole management staff got fired in a 6 month period.
