Dillard's Dept. Store, AZ

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Mesa, AZ

ProsThey have beautiful stores with good merchandise. They strive to keep their stores clean and orderly which adds to a nice shopping experience.

ConsThey treat their employees as if they were disposable. They do not get much respect. I have heard this from other employees also. I only worked there for 6 weeks due to coming down with an illness, but that was a blessing!

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat your employees with respect and you will have less turnover.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Overall, very happy with my job.

Sales Associate (Current Employee) Dallas, TX

I have been working at Dillard's full-time for less than a year

Pros: Employee discounts, opportunity for overtime and bonuses. Cons: Some sales associates are envious if a new employee is better at sales and will be two-faced to you: praising you to your face but… Advice to Senior Management: Is there any training for managers? It's not apparent. Maybe only previous work experience is all that is needed to be a manager. Sales associates… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
